The South West Paediatric Critical Care Operational Delivery Network was formally commissioned by NHS England and Improvement at the end of 2019/20 in response to the national paediatric critical care and surgery in children review.
The South West network is one of 10 Paediatric Critical Care Operational Delivery Networks in England – this map shows their geographical boundaries across the country. As a network we are committed to supporting the development of services to ensure they are coordinated, and ensuring appropriate management of a patient’s pathway through critical care. Our network provides the opportunity to bring together key stakeholders from across the region, including clinicians, providers, commissioners, patients and their families to make changes across complex systems of care in order to improve outcomes for our patients and to ensure the best possible care for children across the South West region.
