Please can all hospitals submit their data by 09.30 am daily to ensure information is available for the daily report. We recommend that this is done by the day staff, so that decisions on how many staffed beds you have for the morning are up to date. Many thanks.

* Update 15th June 2023 (Instructions revised 6th July 2023) – One new question added to the form:
Q9 – Total number of eating disorders inpatients today
We are interested in the number of children whose mental health is controlling their eating disorder, as these inpatients will cause additional workload. Children with disordered eating due a physical problem are not included in this count.
Please count your patients as EITHER a CAMHS admission OR an eating disorders admission.

Q8 – Total number of CAMHS inpatients today
Q11– Total number of influenza positive (all types – e.g,. Flu A, Flu B)

Giving numbers to the above questions and then answering Q5 and Q7 with how many children are in your ward and HDU, will result in a calculation about your staffed bed occupancy
